Following tips, not a method
Acting on calls and chatter without a framework of your own makes every trade a coin flip — and every loss a surprise.
Technical-first equity research, Surat.
We treat every idea as a chart problem before it's a story problem — find the setup, define where it's wrong, then size the risk before the reward is even in the room.
We act on confirmation, not anticipation.
Most losses in the market don't come from picking the "wrong" stock. They come from having no plan for when you're wrong.
Acting on calls and chatter without a framework of your own makes every trade a coin flip — and every loss a surprise.
Buying because a stock "looks good" and figuring out the exit later is how small losses become account-damaging ones.
Fear, greed and hope take over when there's no repeatable checklist — turning a trade into an emotional decision.
A falcon doesn't chase every movement in the sky. It circles, watches, and commits only when the target is unmistakable — then closes the distance fast and with total precision. That's the discipline behind every idea we publish: patient observation while the setup builds, decisive action the moment it confirms, and a clean exit the moment we're wrong.
Patience while it builds. Precision when it confirms.
Before an idea becomes a call, it passes through the same sequence every time. Nothing skips the queue.
Every idea starts with a trigger — something that could change how the market prices the business, not just a cheap-looking number on a screen.
We scan for: earnings acceleration, margin expansion, order wins, new products, capacity additions, management changes.
A catalyst means little without evidence behind it. We look for a real, measurable change in the business — not a story that sounds good on a call.
We check: revenue trend, margin direction, demand commentary, sector tailwinds.
A strong company in a weak sector can still struggle. We want stocks that are leading, not merely participating in a rally someone else started.
We compare: stock vs. sector vs. Nifty relative strength, capital rotation into the theme.
A good fundamental story is not automatically a good trade. We wait for price to build a structure that gives us a clearly identifiable entry.
We look for: breakouts, tight bases, higher highs & higher lows, volume expansion.
We enter close enough to a logical invalidation level that the downside stays controlled — confirmation matters more than being early.
We define: exact entry zone, stop-loss level, and the reason both were chosen.
Conviction never decides position size — the distance to our stop does. Capital is diversified across ideas rather than concentrated on one "sure thing."
We size by: capital at risk per idea, not capital available to deploy.
The call doesn't end at entry. We track what would make us hold, add, trim, or exit — and we act the moment the market tells us we're wrong.
We respect: stop-loss discipline over hope; no averaging down to rescue a losing thesis.
An idea you can act on with a number attached to every part of it — where to enter, where you're wrong, and how much that costs you.
Never included: assured returns, tips, or a reason to trade for the sake of trading.
← swipe to see all seven →
We don't try to guess what a stock will do — we wait for the chart to show us what the market is willing to do, then act once the risk is clearly defined. Fundamentals tell us why capital might rotate into a business; price action tells us when that rotation is actually happening. A good story with no confirming structure isn't a trade yet. It's a guess wearing a research report.
Breakouts, tight bases, and relative-strength leadership tell us the market agrees — anticipation alone doesn't earn an entry.
Every setup starts with the level that invalidates it. Position size follows from that, never from conviction.
We'd rather own a stock showing strength than one that merely looks undervalued on a spreadsheet.
We don't need to catch every winner. We need a repeatable process that lets winners run and keeps losses small.
No trade is also a decision. Being wrong is acceptable — refusing to accept being wrong is expensive. Missing a trade is better than forcing a bad one.
We don't need to be right every time. We need to manage the times we're wrong.
The house ruleOur methodology draws on decades of chart-reading and risk discipline. The quotations are brief, attributed excerpts — the framework built around them is our own.
"Be concerned with the risk you are taking."
Mark Minervini Trader & author, on asymmetric, low-risk entries"There are no good or bad stocks, only rising and falling stocks."
Nicolas Darvas Trader, on price strength and trendEvery call is filed under one of these, so you always know what kind of idea you're getting and how long to hold it.
Multi-day to multi-week setups built around a confirmed breakout or base, with a defined stop and target.
Stocks showing leadership and relative strength, entered only once price confirms the move with volume.
A business catalyst backed by earnings or demand evidence, timed with a technical structure that confirms it.
Wealth-building ideas held for months to years, revisited with periodic reviews as the thesis develops.
We built the onboarding the way we build a trade — as few unnecessary steps as possible.
